Step 1: Remove previous versions of Office from your computer.
Please ensure any previous installations of Microsoft Office are completely uninstalled before activating the software key. If you have any other version of Office on your computer/laptop (i.e. Office 2013, Office 2010, Office 2007 or Office 365, etc.) you need to remove it before installing Office Pro Plus. This will help avoid potential clashes between multiple versions.
Some new Windows systems come supplied with a demo version of 365 installed, this must be uninstalled before installing the new software.

Step 2: Restart your computer.You will need to restart your computer to complete the uninstall process.
Step 3: Please go to Option 1 for Office 2016/2019 or Option 2 for Office 2021/2024 LTSC.
Option 1: Install Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2016/2019
Go to the Microsoft website setup.office.com and sign in to your Microsoft account (or create a new one).You will then be required to copy/paste your key into the first text field. After choosing your installation language and country follow the on screen prompts to download and install your software.
Option 2: Install Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2021/2024 LTSC
Click on the appropriate link to download the setup file for your software.
Office 2021 Pro Plus LTSC – 32 bit version
Office 2021 Pro Plus LTSC – 64 bit version
Office 2024 Pro Plus LTSC – 64 bit version
Office 2024 Pro Plus LTSC – 32 bit version
Once the download is complete, follow these steps:
- Right Click on the file and then select the option, “Run as administrator”
- Click on the “Install” button. This action unzips the application and will install the software.
Step 4: Entering your activation key online.
Once the software is installed you will be required to enter your key again into the activation dialogue box. To avoid errors it is best to copy and paste the entire code into the first text field.

Alternative activation method.
If you receive an error stating the key cannot be activated online you can also activate via the telephone activation service. To do this open a new “Word” document and select the “Account” option. 1 – Go to the following Microsoft website to download the setup file for your software.
2 – Open the downloaded “VisioPro2021Retail.img” file.
3 – Open the “Office” folder and run the 32 bit or 64 bit setup file as required.
4 – Confirm that you wish to allow the 365 and Microsoft Office app to make changes to your device. The installation will now begin.
